Physical Appearance

Face: Elvira has light green eyes. Thinner stripes compared to the rest of the body lie on Elvira's face. Her nose is black/gray in color.

Body: Elvira's body is rather light in actual build, though her long, thick, fluffy fur makes her out to be much heavier than she actually is. In terms of her size, she is taller than the average tom. She is actually quite well-built despite her lighter weight; something a lot of cats do tend to think when looking at her because of her fur.

Fur: The primary color of her fur is light amber color with various black stripes and patterns running all over her body. Her legs have stripes of various widths, though the rest of her body has more of solid patches of black rather than stripes, which includes her tail. Her long fur tends to not be the most well-kept as to what it could be, mostly out of slight negligence on Elvira's end. The thick, fluffy, and long coat serves to give her good insulation during the colder climates, though really hinder her in hotter areas.

Tail and claws: The colors on her tail represent more of what her body is rather than the face. Her tail is a little long for her size, though she doesn't mind it at all. Her claws, despite how much wear and tear they have seen, remain sharp and healthy-looking.

Accessories: Elvira has a think collar made of an animal around her neck. There is currently nothing attached to it; she just wears it more for protection of her neck. Also, the collar is rather fluffy and thick, providing warmth for when the need arises. Her ability stones are, however, nestled across a band of stones held together by interweaved vines that runs around her tail, and high up on the tail at that.

Personality

+ Energetic / + Ambitious / +- Tomboy / +- Talkative / - Impatient / - Forceful

Energetic: Elvira is full of energy, plain and simple. It doesn't matter if she's had a long day or if she just woke up, she's always ready and rearing to move aroung, get started, or find some outlet for it. Anything she does is always done to her best capabilities. Just about the only time she ever stops seeming to bounce around and stay active is when her body forces her to plop down and relax or sleep. This can be seen as very good as she works through as much of her day as she can when she does work, which can mean a prosperous feast.

Ambitious: To Elvira, the sky's the limit for whatever you set yourself to, and some of her goals and standards test those limits. Absolutely nothing will get in her way or completely destroy whatever it is she wants to work on. The words 'give up' basically have no meaning to her. You can tell her to do something, like catch x amount of prey for the week, but in her eyes, she makes it become x + y prey, and will do everything in her power to complete it. If you can't help her achieve the goal she's working on, then it's almost like she won't care about you... until it's accomplished or failed, to which she will care once more.

Tomboy: If there is one thing Elvira could change about her, it would be getting her into a tom's body instead of a she-cats. Elvira doesn't fit many of the common stereotypes of her gender at all and would rather romp around in dirt and have good old physical fun rather than stay at camp and keep clean, which mostly consists of play-fighting. If forced into a situation where she had no choice but to act like the stereotype surrounding her gender, she will be visibly disappointed and upset about it.

Talkative: One might think Elvira is introverted and silent, but once you get her going, it's hard to get her mouth to stop running. She loves getting to know new cats, and making any kind of conversation seems to brighten up her mood. It's easy to get anything off her mind, so figuring out what's on her mind or wrong with her is easy, though secrets are best kept away from her, because she just might let it slip to the entire region. The only way to keep Elvira silent is to completely ignore her, which can sometimes be hard to do.

Impatient: Elvira can't stand having to be still for more than a few moments outside of sleep and mandatory rest, nor does she like being held up by frivolous details. If you attempt to beat around the bush with her or can't keep up with her, expect her to ask you to hurry it up or get to the point. This, in turn, applies to everything she does. When hunting prey, she prefers a more offensive approach, going in for a kill shortly after finding prey instead of observing and learning.

Forceful: Gentle doesn't seem to appear to be a word in Elvira's dictionary. She's rough with kittens and rookies, doesn't know how to take any subject tenderly, nor can she ever seem to appear to be gentle with most physical contact. While this forceful nature has it's upsides, it can get her in a lot of hot water. When catching prey, she can damage some pieces of the prey or be too forceful with her attacks, taking away more precious meat than she needs to.

Brief History

Prologue:

Both of Elvira's parents were born and raised in the Northern regions, and both were/are hunters. Elvira's father, Carter, was 4 cycles old when he had finally confessed his love to Destiny, who was 3 cycles and 2 moons old at this time. They had been on many big-games hunts together, and with their similar personalities, they fell for each other very easily.

Carter was the tom who was caring for those around him, but set too many goals out of his reach. As a result, he was self-doubting a lot on himself, though Destiny did slowly change him out of that. Destiny, on the other hand, acted like one of the toms. She hated the stereotypes of standard lady-like attitudes and actions. She did have a short temper and impatient demeanor, leading to her being upset a lot.

A full cycle after they had confessed and found love within one another, they decided that they wanted to have some kittens of their own. The night was successful, and when the kittenbirth came, the two were really disappointed that they only had one kitten. Regardless of this, they were still somewhat happy, though not as happy as they could've been with more children.

History:

Elvira's young life was mostly spent with her mother, as her father had to work harder to make up for the lack of a region's hunter. As a result, she picked up on most of the attitudes her mother had, making her a shining mommy's cat. As Elvira slowly grew up as a kitten, she found it easy to mingle and play around with the toms, though she did struggle with the she-cats because she was acting more like a tom in she-cats 'clothing'. That wasn't to say Elvira couldn't make friends with everyone; she knew kittens from both genders. However, from being an only kitten, she didn't grow any deep attachments to anyone but her mother, which disappointed her father a lot. He wanted to be there in Elvira's life more, but he simply couldn't find as much time as he wanted.

When Elvira got her spot to appear, it confused both Carter and Destiny, who were Fire and Earth types respectively. They expected her to be on of their own or even Lava, but not Psychic type. They felt that Elvira might not be as successful in fighting with this power, but they didn't have a choice over it now. Elvira, however, was all too happy to have an ability completely different from her parents and a lot of her peers.

When Elvira came to age to start taking on her own tasks and become an official rookie, her choice was a resounding Hunter, just like both of her parents were. She was now finally starting to spend more time with her dad, though it was clear to both her parents that she had more love for her mother. Regardless of this, Carter still tried his best to be an influential dad to her, and he did have some success as Elvira slowly starting to see her limits and always tried pushing her own personal goals to those limits and a little beyond them.

As for her actual training, she found it pretty easy to keep up with her mentor's lessons and even exceeded them at times, mostly due to the natural talent from both her parents. As a result, training was a little boring for Elvira, and what started to make it more difficult was that her mentor was being more strict and ruthless on her when he realized she was trying to more than she needed to. Despite this, Elvira was still coming out successful enough to warrant her ranking up when she was only a cycle old.

Now that she was a full-rank, she was free to do as she wished for the most part. Her parents were still doing fine here, though she knew that her father was starting to slow down a little because of injuries and wear on his body. She talked to her dad and convinced him to take things easy and to her let take a lot of his load off her. Carter didn't want to burden his daughter more than he had to, though he knew she was right in the end.

Elvira did fine for a little like this, though Destiny had began to worry that her only daughter was working herself too hard now. Destiny had to force Elvira to stop work long enough to explain that while it was nice she was doing this, and that setting goals was a good thing, setting them too high and working herself to the bone was a bad idea. Elvira knew that she couldn't really slow down, though after a healer intervened and warned Elvira that her health was declining a little, the psychic-elemental knew she had to slow down and takes things easier, especially with a new hunter rookie coming in to ease some of the burden.

Now that Elvira toned down her personal workload a little, despite her ambitious desires, she's doing better now and it perfectly fine for her age, though she longs to do something more with her life than just work, whatever that might be.

RolePlay Sample

(Taken from an rp between my Kain and Panai's Nova)

Kain was in a somewhat crummy mood all things considered. Well, not completely crummy, but things weren't going well in his mind to him. Being alone in the Searcher's den at nights was something he hoped wasn't going to stay permanent. He wanted Nakoda, someone who he had trust in, back to the region. All he really had right now in the East was Avalanche, and that wasn't quite enough in his head. What also wasn't helping was the new kittens all running around. He knew very well who they belonged to, and just even remotely seeing or thinking about them sent his mind back to the horrible events that happened a little more than a month ago. The kits weren't his, and he had loved the cat who had them, but seeing them only served to remind him that he probably wasn't going to have any soon, especially with her. They also hounded his mind with thoughts that she was probably still done with him while lingering feelings quietly rested deep in his heart, despite the heartache. He was probably more jealous about the whole thing than anything else, but the pain was all still there.

Besides all of that, he had a rotten morning trying to search for anything useful. The only thing he came back with was something for him to eat. At least he was skilled at hunting in the air, so a bird was held from his mouth as he made his way to the food area. However, he dropped the bird when he heard language at the area. His eyes looked to a little rookie who probably thought they were a big shot for using adult language. He never found the appeal in using those words himself, but he knew it was bad. He looked to Nova and said "Keep talking like that and you'll be lucky if you get mice."
